About working with me
A question I’ve been asking myself and others for as long as I can remember is “how does this work?” Answering this question always brings insight and many other questions- most importantly the followup “and how can you tell?”
This is how I think about coaching too. My first move is always to learn about you- what your situation is and what you want to change. We’ll work together to organize the information you already know, check assumptions, identify gaps, and figure out how to fill in those gaps and come up with a plan.
Professional background
I have 25 years’ experience in the workforce, largely in technology with brief forays into other fields (including some public sector work). My longest focus was incident response and incident retrospectives, which brought me into management roles and theories of management. My focus has always been on the ways people interface with technological and business systems, from my earliest roles in phone and email tech support to my most recent roles organizing incident response for large companies.
